Prior to taking an audit, ensure that the driver and audit software have been downloaded and installed on the computer. Instructions are available here.
These instructions outline the procedure to download audit from a keypad installed without a Dallas key reader, using a cable connection to a PC. For other methods, please click the appropriate link shown at the end of Pulse Pro audit software.
This method of taking audit from a Pulse Pro requires access to the lock body and disassembly of the complete lock set. It should therefore only be undertaken by Engineers.
What you’ll need
Audit equipment is available to purchase from our online store, the parts below are required.

Connections
- Disconnect the keypad cable from the lock
- Disassemble the Lock cable splitter

- Connect the cable with the Lock cable splitter to the ENT port of the lock (On some locks, port 1)
- Connect the keypad cable to the Lock cable splitter
- Connect one end of the Lock cable, molex to molex to the Lock cable splitter, and connect the other end to the USB interface

- Connect the USB interface to the computer
- Run the Pulse Pro audit software and ensure that the USB interface has been detected

- The complete connections should be as below

- On the Pulse Pro keypad, press and hold 7 until a double beep sounds and the LED stays on
- Enter the Master (ID 80/81) or Manager (ID 60/61) code
- Press P, the LED flashes
- At the computer, in the audit software click Download

- Specify the number of events and click OK

- The audit will download, and the keypad will sound a single beep when the audit is completed.
- A popup will show Operation Done click OK and the screen will show the contents of the audit.
